The investigation was led by Jim Ramsay and Pat McLaughlin and a report sent to the NIPA Committee
The report stated that everything was in order at Race Marking
The Basketing List was checked by the NIPA on The Saturday the day of the Race and found to be correct, this list had been forwarded to the NIPA on the Friday with the Transporter
The pigeons were verified by a Derry Fancier and again by the Chairman of the NIPA again everything was in order.
The arrival list was checked by the NIPA and found to be in order also clock readings.
The full committee of the NIPA deliberated for a reasonable amount of time into this result and could find no irregularities had taken place.
#Rule 13 states very clearly ANY MEMBER OR PARTNERSHIP RECORDING A VELOCITY OF 100 OR MORE YARDS IN FRONT OF THE SECOND MEMBER OR PARTNERSHIP IN ANY IRISH RACE “MAY BE DISQUALIFIED”.
AS THEY COULD FIND NOTHING WAS OUT OF PLACE THEY VOTED UNANIMOUSLEY FOR DANNY CANNING PIGEONS POSITIONS BE ALLOWED
THE RACE RESULT for 1st BENIMORE TO STAND AS PUBLISHED.
